As you may remember last year the school took part in the computers for schools voucher scheme run by Tesco. We managed to collect over 5000 vouchers, this year we would like to increase that amount with your help. The voucher scheme this year is called Tesco for schools and clubs, and will allow the school to purchase even more equipment.
All you need to do is accept the vouchers from the cashier after buying your normal shopping at Tesco and bring them into school. We will do the rest. The vouchers will be available from Tesco until Sunday 9th May 2010 so start collecting today. |

Prince Albert pupils are taking part in this truly unique world event. World Maths Day is a fantastic way to promote numeracy, helping pupils to make significant improvements in their mental arithmetic skills whilst having fun in the process.
Pupils play against each other in mental arithmetic games - pupils are captivated by the fact that they are playing in real time. Each game lasts for 60 seconds and pupils can play as many games as they wish.

Anti bullying week 16th-20th Nov 2009
Prince Albert School takes a firm stance on bullying and this week in school we are focusing on the ways in which children can be bullied and how this can be prevented. Today’s children are growing up in a world that is very different from that of most adults. New technologies have opened up many exciting educational possibilities for children. Unfortunately, technologies are also being used negatively. When bullying occurs using technologies, such as mobile phones, email and social networking sites, it is called cyberbullying. It is never acceptable in whatever form and the school is working hard to protect children and create a safe secure environment. Please see our parents area on e safety or contact the school if you have any concerns.
